FACE TO FACE WITH THE IMPRESSIVE BULL SHARK
The bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) is one of the ocean’s most fascinating species due to its incredible ability to adapt to both salt and fresh water. This robust and imposing-looking shark can reach up to 3.5 meters in length and is recognized by its muscular body, short snout, and territorial behavior. Unlike other species, the bull shark gives birth to live pups, ensuring greater survival rates for its young. Between November – April we are so lucky to receive them in Playa del Carmen to dive respectfully with them.

Departing from Puerto Morelos on the way to Playa del Carmen, we’ll prepare to share the sea with the impressive and powerful bull shark in this safe and unforgettable diving experience. The spot is 24m/80ft deep so +25 logged dives and advanced or/and deep diving certification is mandatory. - Excellent buoyancy and air consumption
- Good health condition
- Deep Diving/Advanced certification with over 25 logged dives
- No bright color gear
- Dives can use SMB, however must be kept in BCD or cargo pockets
- Ask for use of big cameras
- No selfie sticks
- Check dive can be required before experience

DOING WHAT A FEW
Program
- Meet at SouthEast Divers P.M. to head up Playa del Carmen in our transportation.
- A fast boat is going to take us to the shark point for Dive 1
- After a gentle surface interval, a second Dive in Reef is included.
- Head back to Puerto Morelos where you can take a shower in our facilities and rest with some snacks while debrief.
